Mark has a broad practice and is particularly valued by clients for his common sense approach to business and legal problems.


Well-grounded in business and corporate ethics, Mark’s background informs his practice of corporate law, finance and securities law, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. From representing iconic brands, leading-edge companies in media and entertainment, and cutting edge medical technology companies, to working with private equity firms that strive to make a difference, Mark uses his corporate finance experience to propel his clients’ business vision forward.

He represents clients in acquisitions or dispositions of business units, mergers, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, financing transactions, and private and public offerings. He also provides counsel on corporate governance matters and corporate divorces to clients. Always up for a challenge, Mark was lead partner representing LodgeNet Interactive in its sale to Colony Capital in order to escape Chapter 11 bankruptcy.


Mark helped extend the brand of Hubbard Radio, LLC from the Upper Midwest to markets on both coasts and throughout the Midwest, in acquisitions of over 30 radio stations in transactions valued at more than $600 million.

He represents LFE Capital, LLC, a private equity fund geared to investing in companies owned by or managed by women, or which produce products for women.

He counsels VStar Entertainment,  the producer of the Paw Patrol Live shows and other brands licensed by Viacom and NBC Universal, such as Dora the Explorer, and Bubble Guppies.

Mark advised Public Radio International in its restructuring and alliance agreements with WGBH and PRX.

Mark works with Cedar Point Capital in its capital raising activities for companies in the med-tech, fantasy sports gaming and financial services sectors.
