Kalissa is dedicated to providing sound legal advice to her clients on an array of tax credit finance matters.
Overview
Kalissa works with clients on the creative structuring of tax credit and government incentive transactions, drafting of legal documentation, preparing and rendering tax and corporate legal opinions, and assisting in compliance and asset-management issues. She is able to assist on new market tax credits, historic rehabilitation, and numerous other state and federal tax incentive programs.
Prior to joining Stinson, Kalissa served as a deputy county attorney with the Sarpy County Attorney's Office, where she represented the state in a variety of matters, filed motions on behalf of the state, pursued grant and funding opportunities, and collaborated with various county partners including law enforcement and health care providers.
