Jon assists clients in creating strategic solutions for their complex litigation matters.
Jon focuses his practice on business litigation, including antitrust and intellectual property litigation. Jon also frequently assists with internal investigations, helping clients respond quickly and assess risk as events unfold.
While studying law, Jon gained invaluable experience as an ABA Section of Antitrust Janet D. Steiger Fellow at the Iowa Department of Justice, where he worked on matters governed by Iowa’s Consumer Fraud Act and Consumer Credit Code. Before law school, Jon led campaigns for several political candidates in management and consulting roles.
Represents prominent manufacturer in connection with an investigation of trade secret misappropriation.
Represented technology company in lawsuit involving breach-of-contract, trade secret, and trademark claims where client settled on favorable terms.
Assisted trial team with patent infringement trial that included issues of infringement and invalidity.
Represented client accused of trademark infringement and crafted defense strategy and arguments that led to a favorable settlement.
Assisted with fact discovery and motion practice in connection with multiple lawsuits related to residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS).
