Overview
A member of the firm’s Government Solutions team, Jeremy Estenson applies his prior legislative and public policy experience to build relationships with state and local legislators and government officials. Heavily involved in issues related to transportation, workforce and labor, economic development, and small business throughout his career, Jeremy effectively represents firm clients with business interests in these sectors.
Experience
Jeremy’s depth of lobbying experience includes everything from initial messaging, bill drafting, working with legislators to advance or defeat legislation and amendments, lobbying regulatory officials and much more. Jeremy has experience in a variety of areas including:
- Workers compensation reform on behalf of self-insured businesses.
- Transportation finance and policy issues, particularly related to freight and fuels.
- Workforce and labor issues, particularly those related to FMLA, independent contractor status and Davis Bacon statutes.
- Procurement of public investment for both
Keenly focused on government relations, Jeremy previously worked for the Republican Party in the Minnesota House of Representatives where he served as committee administrator for the Transportation Finance Committee.
He began his career with stints at the Minnesota Trucking Association and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, giving him a solid foundation on which to build.
