She enjoys working with individuals as well as in-house counsel and provides a personable approach. Hailey believes in a team approach when tackling legal issues and feels it is important to keep an open communication with clients in order to provide regular updates.
Hailey has experience representing businesses and individuals in claims before administrative agencies and state and federal courts. She has the knowledge and experience to defend clients facing claims involving claims of discrimination and retaliation, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, various state human rights acts FLSA, ADA, FMLA, FERPA, Title IX, First Amendment, and 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
Experience
Hailey provides proactive employment advice to large and small employers to ensure clients enact policies and procedures that comply with ever-changing laws. Hailey keeps track of new legislation and trending laws across the country. This proactive approach protects clients from future litigation and involves reviewing employment agreements, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks, and separation agreements.
She also represents clients facing demands, litigation, or charges related to employment law in court in front of the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
Hailey also has experience representing clients in general business and commercial litigation .
She assists clients in post-judgment collection efforts, including post-judgment discovery, garnishments, recording foreign judgments, and arranging private investigators.
Hailey analyzes documents and e-Discovery with metadata to provide support for defenses, depositions, and trials.
