With a client-focused approach, Connor assists on litigation matters large and small involving a wide array of industries, including products liability actions, general business, real estate, patent litigation and employment.
Connor works closely with clients to provide innovative solutions at each stage of litigation. He aids in the discovery process by drafting motions and briefs, as well as by filing responses and objections while reviewing client documents for relevant materials.
During law school, he served as a law clerk for the University of Minnesota Office of the General Counsel, a clinic director of the University of Minnesota Family Law Clinic, and a certified student attorney with the Clemency Project Practicum, which included filing motions and briefs in federal court and arguing before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Connor's experience includes drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs before a number of courts, including both state and federal.
He currently helps defend a vehicle manufacturer in state and federal court lawsuits across the country involving personal injuries and other property loss claims.
Connor often assists in deposing and interviewing fact witnesses, namely plaintiffs, passengers, and physicians. In addition, he frequently conducts third party discovery work by reviewing employment records, medical records, insurance records, and codefendant discovery productions.
He has negotiated and drafted settlement agreements in various industries, including products liability actions and real estate disputes.
Connor also maintains an active pro bono practice, where he focuses on criminal appeals and immigration matters, including naturalization and asylum applications. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he teaches the school's Thurgood Marshall Moot Court program, which won the 2022 national championship.
