Christine’s clients appreciate the fact that she is highly knowledgeable, deal-oriented and responsive — ready, willing and able to push the ball over the goal line.

Christine provides practical and effective legal solutions to businesses and individuals, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, real estate development and joint ventures. For her business clients, Christine serves as a trusted advisor and "quarterback" (e.g. providing and overseeing general counsel services, such as contract review, corporate governance compliance), providing general counsel services on business formation to businesses.

Her background in business allows her to see the big picture and provide legal counsel tailored to her clients’ needs. Christine works with developers, investors, commercial landlords and tenants to:

  • Negotiate and document the acquisition, sale and development of real estate
  • Represent landlords and tenants in retail leases, mixed-use, and office leases
  • Resolve land use issues
  • Guide clients through the entitlement process
  • Negotiate real estate finance and construction documents
  • Christine has been committed to pro bono throughout her career, and currently volunteers at a walk-in real estate advice clinic that she helped establish with Volunteer Lawyers Network and Habitat for Humanity.
  • While in law school, Christine was an extern for the Honorable Judge Edward Toussaint, Jr. of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. At the University of Minnesota, Christine ran Division I cross-country and track and was the Captain of the cross-country team. Christine still enjoys distance running and endurance sports, and applies the same competitive spirit to helping her clients reach the finish line in their business endeavors.
