Overview
Brent is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Public Finance group, where he supports clients on a range of matters involving the development and financing of a range of intricate projects.
Prior to joining Stinson as an associate, Brent served as a summer associate with the firm, where he supported a range of real estate matters, including researching tax appraisals for STAR bond projects, analyzing easement implications in eminent domain contexts, and assisting municipalities in understanding reporting requirements related to developer incentives. During this time, he also spent one month assisting the General Counsel of a major Kansas City–based retail company with daily corporate legal management and strategic initiatives.
Brent also gained legal experience with the Buchanan County Prosecutor's Office, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.
