Ashlee instinctively looks at the big picture when framing issues to assist clients in finding strategic solutions to protect and grow their business needs.

Ashlee was a law clerk throughout law school where she gained valuable experience in a variety of fields. Ashlee assisted in drafting corporate governance policies and reviewing merger documents for a global corporation. Ashlee has also developed corporate handbook policies including employee reimbursement for personal technology policies. Ashlee's litigation experience also provides a proactive and unique perspective. Ashlee has assisted in litigating issues involving non-compete contracts, the failure to pay labor union contributions under ERISA’s collective bargaining statutes and several commercial contract disputes.

Ashlee was a summer associate at Stinson before entering her final year. During her final year of law school Ashlee was president of the Student Bar Association, managing editor of Notes and Comments of the DePaul Law Review, and published her article “Cause I Ain't Got No Pencil,” highlighting the discrepancies in the funding of public schools that contain predominantly minority students.
