Overview
Ashlee was a law clerk throughout law school where she gained invaluable experience working in house at a global corporation. This experience has provided Ashlee a unique perspective that recognizes the importance of understanding industrial trends for each client. Ashlee has gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and corporate restructuring deals. She has experience conducting buyer and seller-side due diligence, drafting a variety of transactional documents, and coordinating transactional closing and post-closing obligations.
Ashlee was a summer associate at Stinson before entering her final year of law school. During her final year of law school Ashlee was president of the Student Bar Association, managing editor of Notes and Comments of the DePaul Law Review, and published her article “Cause I Ain't Got No Pencil,” highlighting the discrepancies in the funding of public schools that contain predominantly minority students.
