Overview

Asher assists in a multitude of transactions, including facilitating the formation of business entities, drafting operating agreements, bylaws and buy-sell agreements for companies. He also assists in reviewing contracts, facilitating stock transfers, advising on tax implications and obtaining licenses and permits on behalf of clients from various state agencies.

While in law school, Asher worked as an intern for the Missouri State Public Defender's office and the Washington University Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.

Experience

Advised client on the French and US inheritance and estate tax implications of inheriting a French vineyard from nonresident parents.

Analyzed and calculated the real estate transfer tax implications at the municipal, county, and state level on a $175 million real estate transfer.

Analyzed 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) compliance requirements to advise regarding the formation of a national political advocacy group.

Assisted with the filing of Form 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a public company with revenue exceeding $300 million.

Procured operating and vending licenses and permits for large family entertainment venue.
