Overview
Andy focuses on commercial and consumer financial assets, including secondary market transactions, real estate, and asset management and on structuring and advising the companies that engage in those businesses.
A trusted advisor in finance and real estate law, Andy has the knowledge and skill to handle complex asset-based transactions. He directs the office of general counsel of a federally registered investment adviser fund manager who manages a variety of real estate-related securities and equity investments with a focus on senior living facilities.
Experience
Andy regularly represents lenders in connection with secured and unsecured loans. He has structured loans secured by a wide variety of collateral types, such as real estate and interests in real estate, consumer loans, credit cards and other receivables, equipment and entity interests.
Andy regularly counsels clients in joint ventures involving real estate and other assets (sponsors and capital investors), and is adept at participating loan structures, mezzanine loans, intercreditor relationships, workouts and remedies, and commercial and residential whole loan trading and servicing.
