Notes from a Veteran Presenter at the Acquire or Be Acquired Conference
Bank Director's annual Acquire or Be Acquired Conference has been a staple of the banking community for the past 25 years. Stinson Leonard Street LLP attorney Bob Monroe has been presenting at the conference for 24 of its 25 years, sharing with other industry professionals his knowledge of the ever-changing industry and the risks that often accompany such changes.
He has praised the conference for being an accurate predictor of what the financial industry will look like and what issues it may face in the coming year. Monroe will be presenting at this year's conference along with colleagues Karen Garrett and Adam Maier, all members of the firm's Banking and Financial Services Division.
Monroe has presented extensively at local and national conferences throughout his career on topics including FinTech, mergers and acquisitions, and recent industry developments. He frequently counsels clients in matters involving bank formations, capital raising, reorganizations, succession planning and liability issues.
Stinson's Banking and Financial Services practice provides a full range of legal services to financial institutions of all sizes, including national, regional and community banks, industrial loan and thrift companies, other financial institutions and government entities.
