Nicole Zellweger and Scott Filmore Featured in St. Louis Bar Journal

Nicole Zellweger and Scott Filmore of Stinson Leonard Street each authored articles in the recently published "Fiduciary Litigation" spring issue of the St. Louis Bar Journal.

Nicole's article entitled "Breach of Fiduciary Duty: Lessons From Recent Cases" discusses some basic duties of a trustee and, through the lens of recent case law, offers valuable techniques and procedures to consider in order to avoid a breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit.

Scott's article is entitled "Conflicting Duties and Divided Loyalties: A Trustee's Obligations When Administering Closely-Held Business Interests." The article examines the potential conflicts of interests when a trustee must administer a closely-held business interest held in the trust. These conflicts may involve beneficiaries, other stakeholders in the business and the trustee's own personal interests.
