Monroe Honored with ICON Award from Missouri Lawyers Media
Stinson LLP Senior Counsel Bob Monroe has been honored with the Missouri Lawyers Media ICON Award. This award recognizes attorneys with exemplary careers who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the Missouri legal community.
Over the course of his almost 28 years at the firm, Monroe has earned the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike through his exceptional legal skills and in-depth banking knowledge. He has played a vital role in advising over 150 financial institutions on complex regulatory and compliance issues, as well as strategic acquisitions and finance matters. Monroe's extensive experience in handling complex financial transactions, including numerous mergers and acquisitions, has earned him recognition as a leading attorney in the legal profession. Beyond his practice, Monroe has dedicated 25 years to educating the next generation during his tenure at the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking.

Monroe has been honored with multiple awards and recognitions during this career, including being selected to the KCMBA Barons of the Boardroom for his distinguished career representing banks and directors. He has also been awarded both the Lifetime Alumni Achievement Award and an honorary doctorate degree in Humane Letters from his alma mater, Westminster.
Monroe will receive the 2023 ICON Award at an awards ceremony on June 15.
