William R. Wurm Joins Stinson in St. Louis

Press Release
11.08.2021

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that William R. Wurm has joined the firm as an associate in its St. Louis office. Wurm brings extensive knowledge and experience in real estate and commercial litigation.

Admitted to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and California, Wurm represents clients in all stages of litigation and his strategic approach allows him to efficiently meet his clients' goals. He has represented the country's largest manufacturer of bakery products in a dispute with distribution drivers that resulted in a favorable settlement and avoided multiple trials. He also advises and represents a large, local charity, for which he recently helped enforce an option to purchase real estate, allowing the charity to avoid lengthy litigation and trial. Wurm also represented, as first chair, the country's largest title insurance company in appellate litigation, resulting in a 3-0 win and creating favorable law for the client.

“We are very excited to have Will join the firm," said Michael Kaplan, managing partner of the firm's St. Louis office. "He has significant commercial litigation experience, with an emphasis on real estate and title matters, that will strengthen our team, enhance the firm’s footprint, and give us the ability to better provide our clients with exceptional service.”

Prior to joining Stinson, Wurm worked in private practice, focusing on commercial litigation and real estate. He also served as in-house counsel, AVP, for the country's largest title insurance company, where he managed litigation involving title, escrow and related real estate issues.

Wurm received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri.
