Three Stinson Leonard Street Attorneys Named to Ingram's 250—Most Powerful Business Leaders List
Stinson Leonard Street partners Dave Frantze, John Granda and Mark Hinderks were named to the Ingram's magazine "Ingram's 250." The directory recognizes the most powerful business leaders in Kansas City—the "people who are, unequivocally, the drivers behind business being done" in the region.
The list was published in the November issue of the magazine. The magazine hosted an awards dinner at the Grand Hall at Power & Light to recognize the business leaders.
Frantze heads the firm’s Kansas City real estate practice. He represents developers, property owners and municipalities in projects that require the use of development incentives. He has helped numerous economic development and job creation projects achieve success by leading the formation of public/private partnerships. He also serves as general counsel to the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club and is involved in several Kansas City-area charities, including the Boy Scouts of America, Kansas City Repertory Theatre and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Granda is chair of the firm’s corporate finance division and is also a member of the firm’s executive committee and board of directors. His representative experience includes,' securities offerings, mergers, acquisitions, tender and exchange offers, takeover defense, proxy contests, going private, LBOs, SEC reporting and compliance, leveraged recapitalizations, spin-offs, joint ventures, strategic alliances, compliance programs, special committees, internal investigations, SEC enforcement and corporate governance. He serves as outside general counsel to a wide range of publicly- and privately-held businesses.
Hinderks is the firm's managing partner. He has is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He represents clients in substantial construction disputes concerning business, residential, industrial and public works projects. He has successfully defended business and governmental clients in many matters including, defense of business and consumer class actions, patent and other intellectual property cases, securities litigation, bet-the-company industrial accidents and business contract disputes.
