Susan Ebner Begins Term as Chair-Elect of the ABA Public Contract Law Section
Stinson LLP Partner Susan Warshaw Ebner begins her term as chair-elect of the American Bar Association's Public Contract Law Section this month, adding to her current responsibilities on section's Publications Board, the ABA Section Officers Council Executive Committee and ABA Board of Governors Finance Committee Investment Subcommittee.
Ebner has long been involved with the bar association as an ABA Fellow and in a variety of leadership roles within the ABA Public Contract Law Section, including the Section Council, as chair of the Acquisition Reform and Emerging Issues Committee, chair of the section Task Force on Counterfeit Parts, and vice chair of the section Subcontracting, Teaming and Strategic Alliances Committee. She, along with firm Partner Eric Whytsell, recently contributed significantly to the Public Contract Law Section's latest publication, "Guide to Service Subcontract Terms and Conditions," both as editors and writers. Together the attorneys lead Stinson's Government Contracts & Investigations group. Additionally, Ebner and Whytsell recently launched the Government Contracting Matters blog.
Susan represents businesses and nonprofits on a broad spectrum of government contract and compliance matters, including bid protests, cyber security and supply chain risk, compliance program development and training, audits, investigations, claims, and dispute resolution. She also counsels clients on federal research and development-related matters, including small business innovation research, other transactions, technology investment agreements, cooperative agreements and grants.
