Stinson's Diversity Officer Outlines How Lawyers of Color Can Cultivate Business
Stinson LLP Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Ann Jenrette-Thomas recently published a white paper entitled "5 Marketing Strategies for Attorneys of Color in Big Law," in collaboration with the Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute's Next Gen Leadership: Advancing Lawyers of Color initiative.
Ann announced the white paper with Natalie Runyon, director of enterprise content at Thomson Reuters, in a new podcast discussing why attorneys of color typically generate business differently from traditional business development strategies, and the importance of investing in these methods.
The white paper focuses on two core challenges that big law attorneys of color often face, and essential business development strategies to help lawyers of color develop realistic, long-term business plans. Ann's previous column for Thomson Reuters focused on a similar topic of self-promotion for lawyers of color, with 12 ideas attorneys can use to self-promote fearlessly.
