Stinson Leonard Street Honored with Two Awards from the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Stinson Leonard Street LLP is proud to announce that the firm has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a 2018 Top Performer and a 2018 Compass Award winner.

Both awards represent Stinson's longstanding commitment to and involvement in LCLD's programs and mission-driven work. The awards were announced at LCLD's Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, last month. Stinson is one of only 21 law firms nationwide to earn both distinctions.

The Top Performer Award is given to the organizations that are most active with LCLD throughout the year. The Compass Award is given based on involvement in certain programs facilitated by LCLD.  

Stinson attorneys have participated in the LCLD Fellows Program, the Pathfinders Program and the 1L LCLD Scholars Program. Stinson managing partners also attend the LCLD Annual Meeting each year.

"We appreciate these awards as positive reinforcement of our firm wide commitment to making Stinson a welcoming environment for everyone," Managing Partner Mark Hinderks said. "We know we still have much work to do. We have the will to do it and we have the right people in place to continue making progress toward a more diverse and inclusive workplace."

This recognition builds on Stinson's strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives, which are led by Ann Jenrette-Thomas, the firm's chief diversity and inclusion officer, and the Diversity Committee, chaired by firm partners Pat Konopka and Shane Swanson.
