Stinson Leonard Street Expands its IP Team with Three Attorneys in St. Louis
Stinson Leonard Street LLP announced the addition of three intellectual property attorneys to the firm’s St. Louis office. All three attorneys joined the firm having previously practiced at Armstrong Teasdale.
Jeannie Boettler joins the firm as a partner. She represents clients in the chemical, biotechnology and life sciences industries with patent applications and prosecution and post grant proceedings. Jeannie provides strategic IP advice, helping clients assess patent viability and prepare non-infringement and invalidation opinions. She contributes to the community through her role as a board member of the Legal Advocates for Abused Women. Boettler graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Microbiology and earned her J.D. at St. Louis University School of Law.
B. Scott Eidson joins the firm as a partner. He helps clients resolve disputes over patents, copyrights and trademarks, defend against patent trolls and enforce client's valuable intellectual property. He has successfully defended clients against allegations of infringement and trade secret misappropriation, winning multimillion dollar verdicts at trial. Eidson was named one of the top IP litigators in Missouri and Kansas by Super Lawyers®. He received his B.S., B.A., M.H.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he is an adjunct professor of law. Eidson adds significant depth to the SLS IP litigation team, joining fellow IP litigator Sandra Wunderlich in the St. Louis office and the Firm's deep patent litigation team nationally.
Steven Kazmierski, Ph.D. joins the firm in the role of counsel. He advises clients in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patents, as well as the licensing and enforcement in the biotechnology, chemistry and life sciences fields. Dr. Kazmierski helps clients navigate the federal regulations that govern the pricing of pharmaceutical drugs and with biotechnology prospecting.
He has a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Florida State University in addition to his law degree from Washington University School of Law. He also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Arizona. Dr. Kazmierski was named a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2010, 2013 and 2014.
