Stinson Leonard Street Earns "Leading Collaboration" Recognition from BTI
BTI Consulting Group named Stinson Leonard Street LLP among its "Law Firms with Leading Collaboration" for 2017.
To identify the top collaboration firms, BTI conducted in-depth interviews with 324 corporate counsel, chief legal officers and other legal decision makers in more than 15 industry segments nationwide. Stinson was one of only 54 firms to earn recognition.
"Collaboration among attorneys, practices and administrative departments is part of everything from our Strategic Plan to our daily routine," said Mark Hinderks, Stinson's managing partner. "We share knowledge and experience in multiple ways so that we can efficiently cross-serve a client's diverse legal needs in light of the client's ultimate objective."
BTI notes in its collaboration report that 50 percent of top legal decision makers see lack of collaboration as their primary law firm’s biggest weakness—and is the primary reason they limit the work they give to these firms. The typical primary law firm delivers 1.8 practices to each of its major clients. The best performers, those who collaborate and set the standard for superior client service, deliver 3.2 practices to their clients.
"We view collaboration as an essential element of our ability to deliver value on each matter and a rewarding experience to each client," Hinderks said. "In the modern practice of law, you can't build longstanding relationships and provide extraordinary service without collaboration."
