Stinson Leonard Street attorney Adine Momoh elected to the board of Minnesota Philanthropy Partners
Stinson Leonard Street attorney Adine Momoh was recently elected to a 3-year term as a board member of the Minnesota Philanthropy Partners. Her term begins Jan. 1, 2015. By serving on the board of Minnesota Philanthropy Partners, Adine will also serve on the boards of The Saint Paul Foundation and Minnesota Community Foundation.
Minnesota Philanthropy Partners is a network of more than 1,700 affiliate funds, foundations and organizations working to advance philanthropy in Minnesota. The network shares staff, expertise and operations to improve the effectiveness of their giving and charitable work. The board of directors guides the work of affiliated organizations.
Adine is a trial attorney in the business and commercial litigation division of the firm’s Minneapolis office and a native of St. Paul. Her practice includes securities litigation, estates and trust litigation and creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. In 2014 and 2013, she received the North Star Lawyer designation from the Minnesota State Bar Association for her commitment to pro bono work and received the firm’s 2013 Pro Bono Services to the Indigent award. In 2013, Adine was named a Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. She is one of 167 attorneys nationwide to be selected for this national leadership development program designed to increase diversity in the legal profession.
Adine currently serves on the boards of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, Federal Bar Association (FBA) National Younger Lawyers Division, FBA Minnesota Chapter, Hennepin County Bar Association, and International Women’s Insolvency and Reorganization Confederation–Minnesota Network. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas, summa cum laude, and received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law.
