Stinson Named to the Working Mother 2019 Best Law Firms for Women List
Stinson LLP is excited to announce the firm has been named to Working Mother's Best Law Firms for Women list for 2019. Working Mother has recognized firms for the past 12 years that utilize best practices to retain and promote women lawyers.
Firms are ranked based on female representation, access to parental support programs and support for women's advancement. Among ranked firms, on average almost half of associates and more than a third of partners are women, with firms increasingly offering and encouraging attorneys to use extended parental-leave benefits.
This recognition builds on Stinson's strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives, which are led by Ann Jenrette-Thomas, the firm's chief diversity and inclusion officer. The firm's diversity and inclusion efforts aim to create a diverse and welcoming environment for all, with flexible work policies, employee resource groups, and programs centered on career success and advancement.

Most recently, Stinson was recognized by the Women In Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) as a 2019 WILEF Gold Standard Firm. Stinson was also named as one of the best law firms for female partners in Law360's annual Glass Ceiling report, recognized by the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis' Women in the Workplace as a top-scoring employer on their 2018 Employment Scorecard, and received top marks in the Human Rights Campaign's 2019 Corporate Equality Index.
