Stinson Honored with Pro Bono Award by the Legal Services Corporation

Stinson LLP is proud to announce that the firm has been recognized by the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) as a recipient of its Pro Bono Service Award.

The firm was nominated by Legal Aid of Western Missouri (LAWMO) and selected for commitment to providing and expanding pro bono legal services in Missouri. The firm is the leading participating firm in the organization’s Adopt a Neighborhood Project, working to resolve issues with abandoned housing, illegal dumping, and other issues affecting low-income communities.

The award was presented at a reception on January 17 at the firm's St. Louis office. Stinson was one of two firms selected by LSC for the award, in addition to two individual attorneys.

In 2018, Stinson attorneys in Missouri donated more than 1,700 hours to pro bono services in 45 distinct matters through a partnership with LAWMO. In total, 67 attorneys and paralegals donated their time to these efforts.

Stinson believes that providing pro bono legal services advances our profession and our community.
