Stinson Grows Denver Offices with Addition of Three Attorneys
Stinson LLP is excited to announce the addition of three attorneys in its Denver offices. Partners Jason Maus and Bruce Bagelman have relocated to the Denver offices from other Stinson offices, and associate Jared Ertle joins Stinson following his time as associate general counsel with a bank holding company.
"We are thrilled to have three attorneys joining us in our Denver offices," said Deborah Bayles, managing partner of Stinson's Denver offices. "Jason, Bruce and Jared are all highly skilled attorneys whose industry knowledge and commitment to client service make them assets to their clients, their practices and our team in Denver. We are excited about this continued growth in Colorado."
Maus concentrates his practice on finance and tax law, assisting clients with the structuring of tax credit and government incentive projects, and business acquisitions focused on the real estate sector. His clients often include institutional investors, lenders, developers, nonprofit organizations, community development entities and qualified businesses, looking to structure complex real estate and public finance transactions.
Bagelman has more than 30 years' experience as a trial lawyer, representing clients in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, intellectual property, finance, transportation, entertainment and energy industries. He routinely handles litigation cases of all scopes, from commercial litigation to personal injury matters.
Ertle assists clients with M&A transactions and corporate governance matters, including contractual due diligence, preparing board and committee materials, and drafting resolutions. He has advised publicly-traded companies on corporate governance and securities matters with regards to insider trading, Section 16 reporting and short-swing liability, and NYSE listing standards. Ertle also prepares annual proxy statements and Exchange Act reports, and provides guidance on banking regulations.
The firm has two locations in Denver, downtown in the Independence Plaza building, and in the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village. Stinson is one of the few law firms with multiple locations in the Denver area, allowing attorneys to serve clients from either office. Attorneys in Denver have experience in key areas including banking, corporate finance, M&A, litigation, real estate, securities, intellectual property, and trusts and estate planning.
