Stinson Attorneys Served as Legal Counsel to Dickinson Financial Corporation

Stinson LLP Partners Bob Monroe and Nate Van Emon served as legal counsel to Dickenson Financial Corporation (DFC) and its bank subsidiaries in a major acquisition of KCB Bank from Bancshares of Missouri, Inc. KCB Bank will be merged into DFC subsidiary Academy Bank, with a closing date expected early in the fourth quarter of 2019. 

The deal was announced by Academy Bank on May 31. DFC and Academy Bank are headquartered in Kansas City, with locations spread throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona, with six banking centers scheduled to open in 2019.
