Stinson Attorneys Represented Republic Bank in Merger with National Bank of Commerce

Stinson LLP served as legal counsel to Duluth-based Republic Bank in its recently announced merger with National Bank of Commerce (NBC), also based in northern Minnesota. The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2019, with Republic Bank officially becoming part of NBC and adopting its name. Both institutions focus primarily on commercial lending. This is one of several local bank mergers to occur in Minnesota in recent years.
