Stinson Attorneys Represent Beartooth Financial Corporation in Acquisition by American Bancor

Stinson LLP served as legal counsel to Beartooth Financial Corporation, the holding company for Beartooth Bank, in a purchase transaction where American Bancor Ltd., the holding company for American Bank Center and United Community Bank, has agreed, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, to acquire Beartooth Financial. Headquartered in Billings, Montana, Beartooth is a locally owned community bank with approximately $46 million in assets.

The organization will be merged into American Bancor, but will continue to operate independently as Beartooth Bank. The acquisition will allow Beartooth to grow their services in wealth management, trust and insurance.
