Stinson Leonard Street LLP attorneys Steve Quinlivan, Cate Heaven Young and Bryan Pitko authored an article published today by Law360 in its Expert Analysis section.

The article analyzes the current status of regulatory initiatives that may impact the upcoming proxy season and other near-term compliance matters for public companies. The goal of outlining these considerations is for public companies to develop a timely plan to successfully prepare for the coming proxy season.

Steve practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, REITs, sports law, securities and international transactions. He also has significant experience counseling boards of directors in corporate governance and liability-related issues.

Cate has built a multifaceted practice based on her experience as an executive at medical device and franchise companies. Her experience includes acquisitions and divestitures of multimillion dollar businesses, assisting with the growth and development of franchised businesses from the franchisee and franchisor perspectives, public company reporting and compliance, and advising companies with significant intellectual property assets

Bryan possesses extensive knowledge of federal securities laws and reporting requirements for public companies, public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining the firm, he was an attorney with the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC in Washington, DC.
