Stephanie Scheck Recognized in the Wichita Business Journal's Women Who Lead Series
Stinson LLP Partner Stephanie Scheck was recently recognized in the professional services category of the Wichita Business Journal's first-ever Women Who Lead series. Stephanie was profiled in the magazine and will be recognized at an event on October 29.
The business journal recognized women in six categories who serve as mentors for others and regularly offer guidance and support to their colleagues, contributing to the success of those around them.
In her recent profile, Stephanie discussed her leadership style, importance of mentorship, advice for women in the legal industry, and mentors of her own.
"Leadership was not a moment in time for me, but an evolution of constantly looking for opportunities to take on new challenges and evaluate how I could best add value," said Stephanie. "What is most fulfilling is my daily interaction with so many talented young women I have the honor to work with and mentor in developing their skills as advocates, in providing advice on how to stand out, stand up, and make a difference in pursing their own career paths."
Stephanie provides her clients with practical business and legal solutions in all areas of employment law compliance. As co-chair of the firm's Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits practice, Stephanie works with attorneys across the firm to provide counsel on transactional and litigation matters.
