Sharon Ng Receives CorporateĀ & Entrepreneur Leader Award
Stinson Leonard Street LLP attorney Sharon Ng has been selected as the recipient of the Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders 2015 Corporate Leader Award. ACEL selected Ng for her commitment to diversity within the legal industry and her professional accomplishments. Ng and others were recognized at ACEL's recent 2016 Leadership Gala at the Double Tree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Ng is a partner in the firm's Phoenix office. She represents plaintiffs and defendants in business litigation. Because of Sharon's extensive background in Native American law, she also serves as the chair of the firm’s Tribal Law and Governance practice group.
Sharon's commercial background is diverse. She represents financial institutions, privately and publicly held corporations, and technology start-ups in commercial disputes. Sharon has handled labor and employment disputes, civil rights actions, appellate work, and arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association. She has also successfully prosecuted and defended Native American tribes' and tribal entities' interests in tribal courts across Arizona.
Sharon is an Arizona native who has consistently served the local community. She is currently the chair of the State Bar of Arizona Committee on Minorities and Women in the Law. She is also a Judge pro tem for the Superior Court of Maricopa County, Arizona and a Court Appointed Special Advocate ("CASA") where she represents the best interests of local Arizona children. Finally, in 2015, Sharon was appointed a Fellow in the nationally-recognized Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
