Press Release

Stinson Leonard Street LLP is proud to announce that Robin Carlson was selected to receive the 2016 Robert C. Welch Volunteer Attorney Project Award. The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) presents the award annually to individual attorneys or law firms who, through their work with Legal Aid of Western Missouri's Volunteer Attorney Project (VAP), have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the delivery of pro bono legal services in the Kansas City community.

As a VAP participant, Carlson has donated hundreds of hours to schoolchildren and their parents in matters involving special education and student discipline. In addition, she has served as a supervisor and mentor to a number of attorneys at the firm who are involved in these matters.
