Real Estate Development Attorney Michael Hatting Joins Stinson Leonard Street in Minneapolis
Stinson Leonard Street LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Hatting has joined the firm as a partner in Minneapolis.
Hatting represents real estate developers, investors, and lenders in buying, selling, financing, developing and leasing all types of commercial and residential real estate projects. He has a particular focus helping clients secure both state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credits for preserving and redeveloping historic properties. He has extensive experience in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, project development, joint venture financing, formation of real estate investment funds, property management and leasing.
Hatting also advises business clients in general business and governance issues including, organizing and structuring entities, purchasing and selling assets. He also formed and managed an asset fund that identifies and rehabilitates distressed properties.
Previously he served as executive vice president and general counsel for a privately held real estate development company. He joins the firm from a successful private practice based in Minneapolis. Hatting earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
