Partner Adine Momoh Selected to Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School

Press Release

Stinson LLP is proud to announce Partner Adine S. Momoh has been selected to the 2020 Twin Cities cohort for the Young American Leaders Program at Harvard Business School. Momoh was selected to the highly competitive, national program based on her track record of leadership and trajectory in her professional and civic engagement. She is one of only 10 Minnesotans selected to participate in the program in Boston.

"Adine's record of leadership make her an ideal selection for the prestigious Young American Leaders Program," said Mark Hinderks, Stinson’s managing partner. "We are proud of her professional skills and civic engagement, which served as the basis for her selection."

The Young American Leaders Program brings city-based cohorts of rising leaders from business, government and nonprofits together to increase their knowledge of the state, regional and national economic development, provide tools for cross-sector collaboration and grow networks of rising leaders who can together shape the future of the region. The Harvard program will begin in June 2021.

Momoh has taken on many leadership roles both locally and nationally. Most recently, she was elected to the Federal Bar Association’s National Board of Directors and began her term as chair of the FBA’s Younger Lawyers Division, where she also serves on its board of directors. Momoh previously completed a historic year-long term as president of the Hennepin County Bar Association during its Centennial in 2019, as both the first black woman and the youngest attorney ever to serve as president.

Momoh has numerous national and local honors for her community involvement, public service and professional achievements. She was named a 2019 Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer. In 2018, she was honored as a 40 Under 40 award recipient by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal, and in 2016 she was recognized by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges as a Blackshear Presidential Fellow.

A dedicated trial attorney, Momoh defends complex business and commercial litigation matters for securities, banking, estates and trusts clients, and resolves creditors’ rights and bankruptcy cases in state and federal courts nationwide.
