Natasha Das Named a "40 Under 40" Honoree by St. Louis Business Journal
Stinson LLP congratulates firm attorney Natasha Das on her selection as one of the St. Louis Business Journal's "40 Under 40" honorees. Das and her fellow honorees are being recognized at a ceremony on February 13 and in a special publication by the Journal in February.
Each year, Business Journal editors select 40 professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement while also becoming leaders in their communities. This year more than 600 young professionals were nominated.
Das is a real estate and tax attorney who counsels investors, developers and nonprofits. She helps clients navigate transactions that generate tax credits and assists in all aspects of financing tax credit transactions. Das also represents companies on real estate dispositions and acquisitions. She has drafted and negotiated numerous purchase and sale agreements, construction and loan documents, and property management agreements.
"I've had the privilege of working closely with Natasha and have watched her dedicate herself to meeting her client's needs," said Brian Weaver, a partner at Stinson Leonard Street LLP. "She consistently tackles difficult transactions tirelessly and with poise. In addition to being an excellent attorney, Natasha is also an ambassador for Stinson's St. Louis office through her involvement on boards and civic causes."
In addition to her practice, Das serves on the firm's St. Louis Recruiting Committee and chairs the St. Louis Women's Initiative. She is also the founder of Gateway for Change, an organization that provides underrepresented nonprofits with grant opportunities and encourages collaboration efforts between nonprofits, schools and businesses. Das is also involved with Habitat for Humanity St. Louis, the Urban Land Institute, Visitation Academy, the MS Society and many other community development organizations.
