Momoh Elected to IWIRC Board of Directors
Stinson LLP Partner Adine S. Momoh was recently elected to the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) International Board of Directors as an At Large Director. Her two-year term begins January 1, 2023.
IWIRC is dedicated to enhancing the professional status of women in all disciplines of insolvency and restructuring, promoting communication, common interest and community among insolvency practitioners.
"I am honored to have been elected to IWIRC's International Board of Directors. As a founding member and director of IWIRC's Minnesota Network, I have worked with our board to advance and support women insolvency professionals by organizing pipeline initiatives, educational opportunities, and social events," Momoh said. "I am excited for the opportunity to continue this work with women across the world and to live out my passion of enhancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and improving the administration of justice."
Momoh is a nationally recognized bankruptcy and trial attorney, defending complex business and commercial litigation matters for securities, banking, estates and trust clients, and resolving creditors' rights and bankruptcy cases in state and federal courts nationwide. Momoh co-chairs the firm's Estates and Trusts Litigation practice group, where she leverages her experience in estates and trusts litigation and bankruptcy and creditors' rights to provide sophisticated advice and advocacy when disputes arise involving wealth management, wealth transfer and tax strategy. Actively involved in the legal and broader community, Momoh serves on the boards of various nonprofits, including the Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation, where she chairs the foundation's Community Impact Committee and serves on the foundation's Executive Committee.
