MSBA Honors Adine Momoh With Outstanding New Lawyer Of The Year Award
The New Lawyer’s Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association today honored Stinson Leonard Street attorney Adine Momoh with its first ever Outstanding New Lawyer of the Year Award. The award ceremony was part of the New Lawyers Leadership Conference held at the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.
The award recognizes an attorney under 36 years of age or in practice less than 6 years who has shown outstanding dedication to the Minnesota State Bar Association or a local bar affiliate, as well as a commitment to pro bono work, community service, diversity and professional achievement.
Momoh is a trial attorney practicing in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, securities litigation, estates and trusts litigation, and creditors’ rights and bankruptcy.
This is the third consecutive year in which Momoh’s professional accomplishments and community service efforts have been honored.
In 2013, the Midwest Region of Lawyers of Color selected Momoh for its inaugural "Hot List," which recognizes early career to middle career attorneys who are excelling in the legal profession.
In 2012, Leonard, Street and Deinard, one of the legacy firms of Stinson Leonard Street, honored Momoh with its Pro Bono Services to the Indigent award. Momoh was recognized for her tenacity and success on a law matter involving a mentally ill and physically disabled non-custodial father.
