Kansas City Business Journal Names Three Stinson Leonard Street Attorneys "Best of the Bar"
Stinson Leonard Street partners William Hanna, Paul Hoffmann and Andrew Muller were recently selected to the Kansas City Business Journal's annual "Best of the Bar" list. Since 2002 the publication has asked local attorneys to nominate their peers in private practice who they would recommend based on their skill, experience and ethics. No attorney could make the list based solely on votes from his or her firm colleagues.
Hanna is a litigator who has obtained successful results for clients in jury and non-jury trials in both state and federal courts across the country. He represents clients in a wide variety of complex class action, business and product liability matters. His practice includes ERISA and non-ERISA litigation in the life, health and disability fields, as well as appellate work in state and federal court.
He earned his J.D. from Baylor University.
Hoffmann represents debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, buyers, landlords, franchisors and other parties in bankruptcy, workout and collection matters. He recently served on the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri, and is a past president of the Alumni Group of the Centurions Leadership Development Program of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan.
Muller counsels banks and other lenders as creditors in bankruptcy cases and as plaintiffs or defendants in civil litigation. He represents clients at all stages of loan issues and problem loans, including drafting workout agreements, filing suit when appropriate and defending against lender liability lawsuits. He also represents lenders in multiple types of lawsuits in addition to borrower disputes including check fraud cases, wrongful foreclosure cases, Fair Credit Reporting Act cases and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act cases.
He earned his J.D. from Creighton University.
