Johnny Wang Named a "Best Under 40" Honoree by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association
Stinson LLP congratulates Partner Johnny Wang on his selection as one of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association's (NAPABA) "Best Lawyers Under 40" honorees. Wang and fellow award winners will be recognized at the 2019 NAPABA Convention in Austin, Texas.
Each year, the NAPABA "Best Lawyers Under 40" awards honor younger lawyers who have achieved prominence and distinction in their practice, and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Asian Pacific American civic or community affairs. This year, Wang is among only 15 attorneys nationwide receiving the award.
As a domestic and international labor and employment attorney, Wang assists clients of all sizes, from start-ups to publicly traded Fortune 100 companies on matters ranging from high-risk c-suite terminations to serving as lead negotiator during collective bargaining negotiations. His international labor and employment work helps U.S. companies navigate the complexities caused by having workers abroad.
In addition to his practice, Wang has long been involved with the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of St. Louis, founding the organization in 2012, the Missouri Asian-American Bar Association, FOCUS St. Louis, and serving on the board for NAPABA. He served as the firm's fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow in 2016, was awarded the Diverse Business Leader Award by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2012 and Torchbearer Award by the Missouri Asian American Bar Association in 2018.
