In the News

Partner Johnny Wang discussed what employees should consider when their employer receives a Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) loan from the Small Business Administration, such as when and how to return to work, and what to expect when paychecks arrive, in a recent issue of Business Insider.

"A lot of employees will be scared about their safety in coming back and whether they'll be able to say no if they're asked to come back and they're not comfortable," Johnny said. He further discussed the protections and resources available to employees through OSHA and under the CARES Act and FFCRA, including how to navigate returning to work and caring for children.

As a domestic and international labor and employment attorney, Wang assists clients of all sizes, from start-ups to publicly traded Fortune 100 companies on matters ranging from high-risk, c-suite terminations to serving as lead negotiator during collective bargaining negotiations. His international labor and employment work helps U.S. companies navigate the complexities caused by having workers abroad. Johnny is also a member of Stinson’s Coronavirus Task Force, where he provides guidance on labor and employment matters.
