Jill Weber Named President Elect of Legal Marketing Association
Jill Weber of Stinson Leonard Street LLP has been named president-elect of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). She will serve a one-year term as president-elect before assuming the role of president in January 2017.
The LMA is a nonprofit professional organization that represents more than 3,700 legal marketing and business development professionals in 48 U.S. states, Canada and 15 other countries. The LMA serves the needs and maintains the professional standards of the men and women involved in marketing, business development, client service and communications within the legal profession.
Weber is the chief marketing and business development officer at Stinson Leonard Street. Based in the firm's Minneapolis office, she is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the firm's business development and marketing goals. Her responsibilities include business development coaching, lateral integration, client interviews and branding. She is also the developer of Fast Forward®, a nationally recognized integrated business development initiative that incorporates individual coaching, targeted business plans, educational programming, revenue goals and sales incentives.
Weber was on the National Law Journal's inaugural "Legal Business Trailblazers & Pioneers" list and led marketing teams named to the "MLF 50: Top Law Firms in Marketing and Business Development." Her previous roles with LMA include serving as the co-chair of the 2012 Annual Conference Committee and an at-large member of the international board of directors from 2014-2015.
Stinson Leonard Street has a history of commitment and leadership within the LMA. This year in addition to Weber's appointment, Maureen Farr, a business development manager in the firm's St. Louis office, will serve as the president of the LMA's Midwest Chapter, and Leslie Delfs, a business development manager in the firm's Minneapolis office, will serve as president of the LMA's Minnesota Chapter.
