MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 13, 2018)—Stinson Leonard Street is pleased to announce that Inchan Hwang has joined the firm as a partner in Minneapolis.

Hwang advises businesses with corporate finance matters, focusing on venture capital, private and public offerings, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents manufacturers, agribusinesses and medical technology clients. He is a fluent Korean and Japanese speaker and works with clients around the globe to develop a presence in the U.S. He has also helped domestic businesses enter and grow into foreign markets. He has a particular focus in representing clients in cross-border corporate finance and M&A transactions.

Hwang is a member of the board of directors of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation and a past president of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association. He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. He joins Stinson from a successful private practice based in Minneapolis.

Stinson has one of the deepest and most diverse corporate finance practices in the U.S. The firm's attorneys work closely with clients, focusing on both the legal and business aspects of a transaction to ensure that the deal structure and terms reflect their business goals. The team strives to understand the financial and operational dynamics of a client's businesses in order to find creative ways to bridge gaps between buyers and sellers.

"Inchan is a complete business lawyer who balances a deep understanding of technical legal issues with pragmatic problem solving. Inchan's deep experience guiding privately-held and publicly-held companies through complex acquisition and financing matters fits perfectly with our national corporate finance practice. We are excited that he is joining our practice," said Jack Bowling, the co-chair of the firm's corporate finance group.
