Former Allina Health General Counsel Mary Foarde Joins Stinson's Growing Health Law Practice in Minneapolis
Stinson Leonard Street LLP is pleased to announce that Mary Foarde has joined the firm's growing health law practice in Minneapolis as partner.
She brings extensive experience in the health care industry to the firm, both in private practice and as former general counsel to Allina Health, a large Twin Cities based nonprofit health care system.
She helps hospitals, clinics, physicians, physician groups, health care systems and other providers in a broad range of legal matters, including complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, patient care legal issues, credentialing and other medical staff issues, regulatory compliance, tax exemption and governance. Foarde also has helped health care providers settle regulatory violations for a fraction of exposure, managed antitrust investigations of acquisitions, and achieved favorable resolutions to IRS tax-exempt audits.
She joins a team at Stinson Leonard Street that counsels all types of clients in the health care industry, including hospitals, multi-hospital systems, health plans, physicians, health insurance companies, long-term care providers, pharmacy benefits managers, medical device manufacturers, pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, health information technology companies and health-related trade associations.
Stinson health attorneys provide a broad array of services. They help clients with FDA compliance, fraud and abuse laws compliance, health plan regulation and reorganizations, internal investigations, HIPAA, privacy and confidentiality matters as well as many other issues.

Foarde joins Stinson from a successful private practice in Minneapolis. She earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota School of Law.
