Dickinson Financial Corporation Deal Closes, Stinson Attorneys Serve as Legal Counsel

Dickinson Financial Corporation (DFC) recently announced the completion of its acquisition of KCB Bank from Bancshares of Missouri, Inc. KCB Bank has been merged into DFC's wholly-owned subsidiary, Academy Bank. With this merger, Academy Bank will have $1.9 billion in assets and 25 branches in the Kansas City region, making it the seventh largest bank in the bi-state metropolitan area. DFC and Academy Bank are headquartered in Kansas City, with locations throughout Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona.

Stinson partners Nate Van Emon and Bob Monroe served as legal counsel to DFC and Academy Bank on this deal.
