Denver Attorney Donna Gonzales Profiled for Her Pro Bono Work with Local Artists

Stinson Leonard Street attorney Donna Gonzales is featured in a Denver Business Journal profile of law firm pro bono work.

Donna volunteers with the Colorado Attorneys for the Arts program, which is part of the nonprofit Colorado Business Committee for the Arts. The program connects qualified artists, cultural nonprofits and creative entities to volunteer attorneys willing to assist on arts-related legal matters. Donna has donated about 30 hours this year working with local artist on a mural and graffiti project in the River North Art District in Denver. She has helped organize and grow the project to include dozens or artists and landlords.

“I came from a musical background – way back when,” Donna said of the program. “For me, it’s a great opportunity to expand my skills and choose what I want to work on."

Donna represents clients in the advertising, media, and fashion industries and provides a broad perspective in protecting and enforcing intellectual property. She also advises clients on trademark and copyright protection and enforcement, as well as internet and social media advertising compliance.
