David Everson Named "Pro Bono Lawyer of the Month" by BAMSL

Stinson Leonard Street LLP attorney David Everson was named the "Pro Bono Lawyer of the Month" by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL).

David has donated more than 4,300 hours of pro bono service over his career, logging over 290 hours in the last year alone. His pro bono efforts focus on wrongful conviction matters, including the case of Johnny Lee Wilson, a man with cognitive impairments and no prior convictions who had been wrongfully convicted of a murder.

David was able to obtain a pardon of his life sentence from the governor of Missouri in 1995.

He has also been involved with a number of legal service organizations in Missouri, including Legal Aid of Western Missouri, the Midwestern Innocence Project and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri's Family Court Program.

David is a member of the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation II Division where he represents clients in matters related to antitrust, intellectual property and fraud, and has served as lead counsel for clients in several cases of multidistrict litigation.
