Chuck Hatfield Quoted in Missouri Lawyers Weekly Article About Missouri Supreme Court Judges

In the News

In a recent article ("Supremetrics"), Missouri Lawyers Weekly considered how Missouri Supreme Court judges vote, a review the publication has conducted periodically since 2007. The recent analysis examined 43 decisions between January 2012 and April 2014.

The article, in particular, focuses on Judge Paul Wilson's 16 months on the court. Chuck Hatfield, an attorney in Stinson Leonard Street's Jefferson City office who worked alongside Judge Wilson in the Missouri Attorney General’s office, described Wilson as having a “fairly conservative approach.”

“I think Judge Wilson feels very strongly that one has to separate one’s personal feelings and ideology from the way one approaches the law,” Hatfield said in the article.
