Brittany Barrientos Named "Best of Bar" by the Kansas City Business Journal

Stinson LLP is excited to announce that Partner Brittany Barrientos was recently selected to the Kansas City Business Journal's annual "Best of the Bar" list. 

The publication recently changed its selection process from peer review to an independent panel of judges selected from the local legal community. Honorees are chosen based on their professional reputation, involvement in significant cases and civic involvement. This year, 53 attorneys were selected to the list. 

Barrientos counsels clients on environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements arising under the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, solid and hazardous waste laws, Superfund, OSHA, PHMSA, and state and local regulations. She has worked extensively with municipalities and electric-generating utilities, and clients in chemical, manufacturing and real estate industries. 

Beyond her practice, Barrientos is a frequent speaker on environmental law both at conferences and at local universities. She sits on the boards of directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City and the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Project, and was a 2017 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow. Barrientos is also a recent graduate of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions program.
