Stinson Leonard Street Partner Lonnie Williams, Jr. Named to List of Top 25 Minority Leaders in Arizona
Lonnie J. Willams, Jr., a partner in the Phoenix office of Stinson Leonard Street LLP, has been selected to AZ Business magazine's list of the Top 25 Minority Leaders in Arizona.
AZ Business selected Williams and 24 other minority leaders in a collaborative effort with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce and the Black Board of Directors Project. The list appears in the March/April issue of AZ Business.
"I am grateful to be among this group of leaders in the Arizona business community," said Williams. "I commend AZ Business magazine and organization members who took the time to consider the contributions from those who made the list."
Williams is a past president of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, a past president of the Maricopa County Bar Association and has served as a delegate for the American Bar Association.
In October 2013, Williams was also recognized by AZ Business magazine in its annual AZ Business Leaders issue. Williams was one of 400 executives who were profiled. He was included among the leaders in the law-commercial litigation category.
Williams is a member of Stinson Leonard Street's commercial litigation division. He has extensive experience representing clients as lead trial counsel. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, a prestigious association that consists of a select group of accomplished trial attorneys. Fellowship is extended by invitation only to those attorneys who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.
Since 2003, Williams has been listed in Chambers USA in the general commercial and labor and employment categories. He has also been selected as a Southwest Super Lawyer in business litigation since 2007 and listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995 for both commercial litigation and labor and employment law.
