Allison Murdock Featured in UMKC Law Story on Changing Legal Profession
Stinson Leonard Street deputy managing partner Allison Murdock is featured in a story published in the spring issue of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School's alumni magazine.
In the story, Allison and other UMKC Law graduates discuss how the legal profession and legal education system are responding to changes related to technology developments, workforce management and lifestyle expectations.
One of those areas is how law firms bill their clients and operate financially. Allison mentioned that Stinson and other firms have put a higher premium on teaching lawyers about the financial aspect of practicing law and encouraging attorneys to work them with professional accounting and finance staff to structure fees in a way that gives clients greater predictability and transparency.
